360PAY invest in customs clearance

360PAY announce two investments that significantly enhance group profile and its offering in customs clearance services.

In association with Verag Spedition - 360PAY strategic partner in this field (as well as group shareholder) - 360PAY has acquired 88% of PJ Shipping Limited (PJS), the Dover-based customs clearing agency specialised in supporting wine and spirits trades across UK borders. PJ Shipping has been operating for over 25 years, and counts today on the support of 16 professionals, providing dedicated solutions and tailored approach that facilitate customs formalities, with a special focus on alcoholic goods requirements. Jamie Gibbons will continue in his role of Operations Director as well as minority shareholder.

Secondly, 360PAY has acquired 67% of the share capital of EORI UK Limited (EORI), one of the UK’s leading independent customs agents. Since its establishment in 2019, EORI has been at the forefront of post-BREXIT customs operations, earning a reputation for innovation, compliance, and efficiency. With a team of over 130 highly trained data analysts and customs practitioners operating out of Worksop (near Nottingham), EORI processes more than 3,500 declarations daily, ensuring supply chain effectiveness and unwavering regulatory compliance. The company holds AEO accreditation, ISO9001 and ISO27001 certifications, and was recognised as “Best in Class” Customs Broker by the AIBF in 2023, 2024 and 2025.

Founder Robert Hardy - who is ‘rejoining’ 360PAY having been part of its senior management for over 10 years since the early 2000s’ - will continue to be a shareholder and CEO of EORI. The stake in EORI has been purchased from founding partner Oakland International, who remains a valued partner. EORI and 360PAY have signed a partnership agreement with Oakland for the supply of distressed load management - a field in which Oakland leads the UK market with an impressive 85% load recovery rate.

“This is a match made in heaven - or Worksop, to be precise!” commented Robert Hardy. “Together with 360PAY, we’re positioned to redefine what’s possible in customs management and cross-border trade”. Jamie Gibbons added, “All of us at PJ Shipping are looking forward to joining forces with 360PAY, whose scale and relationships will help us reach more customers and expand the impact of our services together.”

“We see this as a key step towards our goal of providing fully comprehensive and streamlined customs solutions, covering all the needs of our customers in the ever-evolving market trends” stated Andreas Luxbauer, Head of Corporate Development at Verag.

“We are thrilled to be teaming up with Robert and his talented teams at EORI, which holds a leading position and cutting-edge technology in the customs clearance marketplace,” said Marco Alberti, CEO of 360PAY. “In equal measure, we are excited to partner with Jamie and all the colleagues at PJS, who bring amazing expertise in some specific yet fundamental trades. We look forward to supporting both EORI and PJS’s continued growth and success as part of our group.”

These investments allow 360PAY and its associated companies to achieve a leading position in the customs clearance marketplace in the UK: many customers will benefit greatly from the know-how and cutting-edge technologies of EORI and PJS. Moreover, the group will seek to develop its offering through synergies with both VIB (the Zeebrugge-based customs agent already part of 360PAY) and the Verag group of companies (the leading customs agency for trades between Turkey and Europe). Whilst movements between the UK and Europe represent a priority for the group existing client base, 360PAY will aim to build a true pan-European customs clearance support for its customers.
